MagFan1
MagFan1 has revolutionized the market for ON/OFF fans by setting new standards in terms of efficiency, capacity and pressure performance.

The MagFan1 is identical to the existing MagFans except it is an ON/OFF fan. It is still a direct drive fan, so no belts and pulleys – hence no maintenance.
Setting New Standards
The technological advantages of MagFan1 stem from the perfectly shaped body of the MagFan where the air passing through the unit meets a minimum of resistance. The proof is that the MagFan1 outperforms all other fans of similar size.
Best in Test at Bess Lab
MagFan1 has one of the highest Energy Efficiency Ratings of all fans tested at Bess Lab.
Each year, Bess Lab, Illinois, and University of Georgia define the top 1% of all fans tested by two key parameters:
Energy efficiency rating should be 22 CFM/Watt or higher
Air flow ratio (AFR) should be 0.79 or higher
With 22.2 cfm/Watt MagFan1 has one of the highest Energy Efficiency Ratings of all top 1% on/off fans tested at Bess Lab. It has the best Air Flow Ratio (0.855) of all the top 1% fans. Throughout the pressure range the MagFan1 delivers a good 35% higher capacity than the best of the rest. MagFan1 simply outperforms all the other on/off fans in terms of raw performance.
Three-phase Induction Motor
The three-phase induction motor on MagFan1 has a smooth surface and carefully designed end shields that allow for high aerodynamic efficiency on this easy-to-clean, fully enclosed motor.
Higher Energy Efficiency
MagFan1 can also be speed controlled. Any standard variable frequency drive (VFD) will work. The VFD speed controlling allows for a high energy efficiency of the MagFan1, compared to versions offered by our competitors.
